Privacy Policy

Effective Date:

1. The Short Version

The gpulse CLI collects zero data. No telemetry, no analytics, no crash reports, no phone-home network calls. All GPU monitoring data stays on your machine and is never transmitted to us.

The only data we collect is what you voluntarily provide: your email address if you join our waitlist, submit feedback, or purchase a license. The gpulse.ai website uses cookieless analytics that cannot identify you. That is the entirety of our data collection.

2. What the CLI Tool Does NOT Collect

gpulse runs entirely on your machine. It does not:

  • Transmit telemetry, usage statistics, or analytics of any kind;
  • Send crash reports, error logs, or diagnostics to any server;
  • Collect personal information, hardware fingerprints, or system identifiers;
  • Phone home, check for updates, or contact gpulse.ai servers;
  • Read, upload, or transmit any GPU metrics, process data, or memory information.

Local configuration: gpulse stores user preferences at ~/.config/gpulse/config.toml and, for Pro users, a license key at ~/.config/gpulse/license.key. These files remain on your machine and are never transmitted to us.

Optional network features: The Prometheus metrics endpoint and SSH fleet monitoring (Pro tier) are features you must explicitly configure. They operate on your local network or over connections you establish. gpulse does not route any data through our infrastructure for these features.

3. Website Analytics

gpulse.ai uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless analytics service. It:

  • Uses no cookies, local storage, or client-side state;
  • Collects no personally identifiable information;
  • Does not track users across sessions, pages, or websites;
  • Provides only aggregated data (page views, referrers, country-level geography).

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, advertising trackers, retargeting scripts, or any other third-party tracking technology.

4. Information We Collect

We collect personal information only when you voluntarily provide it:

Waitlist and Download Forms

If you sign up for our waitlist or request a download link, we collect your email address. We use it for:

  • Product updates and release announcements;
  • Security notices affecting the software;
  • Beta invitations and early access opportunities;
  • Download verification links.

Feedback Form

Our feedback form collects bug reports and feature requests. Providing your email address on the feedback form is optional. If you include it, we may use it solely to follow up on your report.

Pro and Enterprise Purchases

If you purchase a Pro or Enterprise license, we collect your email address and payment information. Payment processing is handled entirely by our third-party payment processor; we do not store credit card numbers, bank details, or other payment credentials on our systems.

We will never sell, rent, share, or trade your personal information. You can unsubscribe from emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link or emailing us.

5. Cookies

gpulse.ai does not use cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics operates entirely at the network edge without any client-side storage. No cookie consent banner is needed because there are no cookies to consent to.

We do not use fingerprinting, local storage, session storage, or any other client-side tracking mechanism.

6. Data Storage and Retention

  • Email addresses are stored in Cloudflare Workers KV, encrypted at rest. Retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
  • Feedback submissions are stored in Cloudflare Workers KV. Retained for up to two years or until you request deletion.
  • License keys (Pro/Enterprise) are associated with your email and stored in our systems. Retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days.
  • Web analytics are aggregated by Cloudflare with no individual-level records retained beyond 30 days.
  • GPU data is never stored by us. No database, server, or cloud service receives your GPU metrics.

7. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate:

  • Cloudflare — website hosting, CDN, DNS, cookieless analytics, Workers KV for data storage. Privacy Policy.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery. Privacy Policy.
  • Google Fonts — web fonts loaded from Google servers. Google may collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type) when fonts are loaded. Privacy Policy.

None of these services have access to your GPU data, because no GPU data is ever transmitted. They process only the information described above: email addresses, feedback submissions, aggregated web analytics, and standard web requests.

8. Security

We protect the limited data we hold with:

  • Encryption at rest for stored email addresses and feedback data;
  • HTTPS/TLS encryption on all website connections;
  • No passwords stored (there are no user accounts);
  • Restricted, authenticated access to backend systems;
  • Minimal data collection by design.

No system is perfectly secure. We implement industry-standard practices proportional to the sensitivity of the data we hold, but we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights Under GDPR (EEA Residents)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the UK, or Switzerland, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
  • Rectification — request correction of inaccurate data;
  • Erasure — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten");
  • Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
  • Restriction — request that we limit processing of your data;
  • Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interest;
  • Withdraw consent — withdraw consent for email communications at any time;
  • Lodge a complaint — file a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Lawful bases for processing:

  • Consent (Article 6(1)(a)) — for email collection via forms;
  • Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) — for aggregated, non-identifying web analytics;
  • Contract performance (Article 6(1)(b)) — for processing related to paid subscriptions.

International transfers: Data may be processed in the United States via Cloudflare infrastructure. Cloudflare participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and implements Standard Contractual Clauses where required.

We will respond to all rights requests within 30 days. If we need additional time, we will notify you within the initial 30-day period.

10. Your Rights Under CCPA (California Residents)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act provides you with the following rights:

  • Right to know — you may request what personal information we have collected about you and how it is used.
  • Right to delete — you may request deletion of your personal information.
  • Right to opt out of sale — we do not sell personal information and have never done so.
  • Right to non-discrimination — we will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

Categories of information collected: Identifiers (email address) and internet activity (aggregated, non-identifying analytics). We do not collect biometric data, geolocation data, professional information, or education information.

To exercise your rights, email privacy@gpulse.ai. We will verify your identity and respond within 45 days.

11. How to Request Data Deletion

To request deletion of your personal data, send an email to privacy@gpulse.ai from the email address associated with your data. Include "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line.

We will:

  • Acknowledge your request within 5 business days;
  • Complete deletion within 30 days;
  • Confirm deletion by email once complete.

Since we hold minimal data (typically just your email address), deletion is straightforward. After deletion, we retain no record of your information.

12. Children's Privacy

gpulse is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@gpulse.ai and we will delete it promptly.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do:

  • The updated policy will be posted at this URL with a revised effective date;
  • Material changes will be communicated via email to users who have provided their address;
  • We will not retroactively reduce your privacy protections without your explicit consent.

Continued use of the Software or Website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
